How to get there. This one is easy, you will not need sat nav.

Leave Bristol on the Wells Road (A37).
Follow signs for Wells.
At Wells follow signs for through traffic, heading for Glastonbury.
On the outskirts of Glastonbury you will see signs for the Tor and Abbey, also for the Tor park and ride.

There is very little chance of finding anywhere to park near the Tor. I strongly recommend using the park and ride service.

Glastonbury Tor can be seen for miles around. It is in many of the views when the Glastonbury Festival is being shown on television.

It looks spectacular on the horizon in Somerset, fantastic when you make the effort to climb the hill to be there. From the Tor you can see the festival site, in the other direction you look down onto Glastonbury.

Really well worth a visit, be warned, it is quite a climb.
